La Tapenade Mediterranean Cafe at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport

Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport

From Sheila K. of Denver, Colo.:

“All I have to say is, ‘YUM!’

My husband and I recently tried La Tapenade in the new Terminal 3 at Las Vegas’ McCarran. It was delicious!

We were surprised to find it. We thought we’d be limited to the usual fast food offerings. But this was a nice change of pace, as far as airports go.

Being a vegetarian, I got a flatbread pizza with roasted eggplant, zucchini, artichoke and feta. It was great.

George got a chicken dish with tzatziki, hummus and a fantastic chutney. The girl who took our order said it was homemade.

And we got beer. They had quite a nice selection of beer and wine. It was Las Vegas, after all!

As an aside, the terminal is beautiful. It is brand new – I think it opened in summer. So clean and shiny! Cool artwork everywhere, too.

Definitely worth checking out.”
